Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Zeta Sigma Chapter's charitable arm, The Blu Crescent Foundation, was approved by the IRS as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization on Thursday, July 11, 2019.
The Blu Crescent Foundation's mission is to promote programs and activities that target young men of color between the ages of 8 and 18. The foundation implements initiatives that aid them in their efforts to excel in today's society, focusing on their familial, cultural, athletic, social, and educational needs.
The Foundation's vision is geared toward providing programs that will dramatically increase the ability of these young men in the greater Puget Sound area to make healthy physical, emotional, and social decisions.
