Newton Foundation Donation
As we celebrate Black History Month, we invite you and your chapter to join us in honoring Bro. Dr. Huey P. Newton by making a donation to his Foundation - an organization dedicated to preserving the legacy of one of the most influential leaders in the Black liberation movement.
The Huey P. Newton Foundation is essential in educating future generations, promoting social justice, and empowering communities. We are requesting donations to support their continued efforts and strongly encourage all brothers and chapters to take part in this meaningful initiative.
Donations will directly support the Foundation's educational programs, outreach efforts, and community-based projects, all of which reflect the core values of our Fraternity. I am contributing $500.00 from my Regional budget, and N. California State Director Bro. Terry, III and his chapter Theta Lambda Sigma have already pledged $500.00 as well. We hope this will inspire other Regional officers and chapters to do the same. If your chapter is unable to donate, please consider making an individual contribution of $19.14. No matter how or how much you choose to give, together we can create a meaningful and powerful impact.
Our goal is to present a ceremonial check with a pledge of $19,140.00 to the Foundation on Thursday, February 27th, at 6:00 PM PST. Brothers are asked to be dressed in the following attire: blue blazer, black slacks, blacks shoes, white shirt, and blue & white tie.
The museum is located at 1427 Broadway in Oakland, CA. We would be honored if you and your chapter would consider making a contribution, no matter the amount, to support the Foundation’s vital mission. Your generosity will help create a lasting legacy and have a positive impact on our communities. This is a special opportunity to make a tax-deductible contribution to preserve the legacy of the Black Panther Party. All donations go towards their 501(c)(3), the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation.
