“Let the works I’ve done speak for me!” What more can be said of this highly intelligent, talented, loving, kind-hearted, soft-spoken, and industrious young man? Bro. Keith Edward Moore, the second of three sons born to Bro. Charles Edward Moore and the late Sor. Mary Louise Goldsmith-Moore entered this world on March 10, 1971, in Jacksonville, FL. His life was a testament to his involvement and love of education, family, music, and service within various church and community segments. He lived a happy, busy, and goal-oriented life but went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 2, 2024, in Tacoma, WA.
He has always been involved in the learning process. His early educational journey began in the public schools of Edward Air Force Base in Edwards, CA, Washington, D.C., Tampa, FL, Alamogordo, NM, and Eielson Air Force Base in Fairbanks, AK. He completed high school at North Pole, AK, and graduated from Alabama State University, Montgomery, AL; Chicago State University, Chicago, IL; Springfield College, Springfield, MA; and Paine College, Augusta, CA. At the time of his death, he was enrolled in his 2nd Year of a Doctoral Studies Program at the University of Washington, Tacoma, WA.
Bro. Moore has consistently demonstrated a love for God and has worked unselfishly within the church family wherever he chose to call home. His conviction of the Doctrine of Jesus Christ began early at True Victory Baptist Church, North Pole, AK. His love of music landed him in the position of Minister of Music in many of the churches he held membership in. He served faithfully in the music ministry until his passing at The Greater Life Church (Lakewood, WA), then subsequently and finally at The Greater Works Fellowship Church (Tacoma, WA). He loved children and enjoyed playing games and attending Sunday fellowship dinners regularly with his newly adopted church family. His talents and spirit touched and will continue to touch the lives of many people from various walks of life
Besides God and his family, Keith’s greatest love was Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., especially the many social action endeavors the fraternity involved itself in. Bro. Moore moved from Boston, MA, to Seattle, WA, in 2015 and took a position at Cornish College of Arts. He was appointed State Director of the Pacific NW Area and helped reactivate the Kappa Lambda Chapter at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA, chartered Gamma Upsilon Gamma Chapter at Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR, and designed the blueprint for chapter growth throughout the Pacific Northwest. He served as State Director until he was elected Western Regional Secretary in 2022.

GA; two brothers, Terry Andre Moore (Stacey Kathleen), Merced, CA; Charles Christopher Moore, Tampa, FL; Extended Step-Siblings - Isaac Xavier (Flor) Wood, Nashville, TN; Tiffany Wood, Atlanta, GA; Nieces and Nephews, Anthony Moore, Grays Lake, IL; Brandon Moore, Merced, CA; Riley Moore and Lily Moore, Merced, CA; Special aunt, Annie Little (James), Woodbridge, VA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, church members and members of his Blue & White family.
