- In your experience, have you been affected by economic depression? If so, what does that look like? If not, detail your level of affluence, if any, and what that looks like. What are the differences between communities that suffer and ones that exist without economic depression? How has living and serving in your community prepared you to positively impact impoverished communities in the future?
- In mainstream media today, giving back to your community is a popular topic. You see it among celebrities, charities and hear the voices of people calling on the government to do the same (among others). Whose responsibility is it to preserve the communities we live in? What role do these people and/or institutions play in it? What advantages/disadvantages does it serve overall?
- Home is where the heart is. But not everyone’s house is a home. Describe what home looks like for you. This could be where you stay, your neighborhood, city, country and beyond.
