Bro. Deric Ntirandekura, Oregon State University
This month's Collegiate Spotlight shines on Bro. Deric Ntirandekura. Deric is a sophomore at Oregon State University pursuing a degree in both Computer Science and Medical Robitics Research with a 3.2 GPA. When Bro. Ntirandekura is not studying or playing for the University band, he is busy giving back to the community. Deric is a mentor for incoming freshmen, as well as a tutor for local K-12 students throughout the city of Corvallis. His hobbies include digital photography and research in the energy and power safety lab.
Deric was initiated in the Spring of 2016 as an associate member of the Omicron Theta Sigma Chapter | Portland, OR. He chose to become a brother of Phi Beta Sigma because of the organization's diversity and commitment to service. His most memorable moment in Sigma thus far was attending the 63rd Regional Conference in Long Beach, CA.
