Dear Brothers,
Happy New Year! I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation to all of you who have stepped up to be chapter representatives of our military members. I want to thank Brother Regional Director Sidney Jackson and the regional leadership for allowing me the opportunity of being the first Regional Director of Military Affairs. It is a true honor to be able to represent the region and all the military members for their service to our country. As we continue to advance the fraternity's mission of service, fellowship, and leadership, I want to expand military member recognition programs in all our chapters and strengthening partnerships with veterans' organizations and fostering connections within our brotherhood.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities for our region. This year, my vision is to:

1. Expand Program Outreach: Deepen engagement with fraternity members, within our chapters, our region and external organizations to better serve our military community.
2. Strengthen Collaborations: Continue building strategic partnerships with groups like the U.S. Army and other veteran service organizations to benefit the members of our chapters.
3. Enhance Support Systems: Improve resources for transitioning service members and veterans through educational initiatives and targeted support.
4. Celebrate Excellence: Recognize and honor the contributions of military members within Phi Beta Sigma and beyond.

I want to carry forward the momentum built by the International Military Affairs Committee (IMAC) at the regional level and down to our chapters, remaining steadfast in our commitment to making an impact on our membership. I have no doubt that 2025 will bring even greater success, and I look forward to working with all of you to achieve it.

I truly appreciate the dedication to this committee and our fraternity. We still have many chapters in the region that have not appointed a chapter military affair representative. Chapter Presidents, please complete the Military Affairs Representative Form on PBSWest.Org I would like to have all chapter representatives in place, not later than January 15th and by the next Regional Military Affairs meeting, Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 7:14 pm. May this year bring you and your families health, happiness, and prosperity. Let us together, continue to exemplify the high ideals of Brotherhood, Scholarship, and Service.
