Good Evening Brothers,

Hopefully, you and yours are doing well. I pray that your Thanksgiving holiday was surrounded with love and laughter during these COVID times that have impacted our organization, families, communities...and our world on various levels. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. continues to serve within our mission and goal to provide Culture for Service and Service to Humanity.

As your Western Region Director, I am constantly working with my board and you, our dedicated members, to implement strategies that will benefit growth opportunities for our community and membership. Today... I would like to lean into such an opportunity that centers on our collegiate chapters within the Western Region.

My brothers this video message today serves as an immediate call to action from our alumni brothers to assist me in ensuring that our collegiate chapters continue to survive. These are unchartered times and the “inclusive we” need to come together as a strong “army of resources” to equip our 11 financial chapters within the region.

Our collegiate brothers are mostly away from their campuses resulting in a harsh reality where “normal” fundraising strategies have been impossible to implement. The inability to generate money to support the financial assessment is a real issue that requires us, the alumni members, to exercise our kindly attitudes during this week to respond to this immediate call to action.

I need all alumni brothers to participate in this region-wide fundraising initiative that will assist our collegiate chapters in paying their 2021 Assessment Fee within this upcoming week. Again, this fundraising opportunity will run from today Wednesday, December 2 through Thursday, December 10, 2020.

How can you help?
I’m calling on all alumni brothers to donate $37.00 in honor of our region's founding year (1937) to support our collegiate chapters. As the world has been suffering due to the pandemic of COVID 19, the way we live our lives will forever be changed.

Please make your "37 FOR 37" donation in the amount of $37.00 via paypal.me/pbswest or via the PayPal app with the provided QR Code. All funds donated will be utilized to assist our collegiate chapters with year-end financial obligations.

As we move into 2021, we will have more opportunities to learn how to approach and manage our business differently and in most cases, better than before.

Brothers of the West, the time has come for us to take care of our Brothers in the West! Please stay tuned and ready for upcoming details on how to donate to this important cause!

Let us continue to be the example of “Brotherhood, Service, and Scholarship” as we show the world that Greekdom is alive and still active in your respective communities.
