Brothers,

Hopefully, you and yours are doing well. As one of my campaign aims was to have to structural expectations across the region. First off, I want to ensure that our collegiate advising becomes stronger. The mindset is that if we want our collegiate brothers to grow into productive Men of Sigma as they get older, we have to ensure that the Alumni brothers who spend the most time with them are well educated in both the business of Sigma as well as adept at building meaningful relationships.

The precedent of having one sole collegiate advisor is prehistoric and inefficient. It is my vision, along with the current Regional Director of Collegiate Affairs, Bro. Felix Moore, to push the Region into an advisory team approach. The needs of our collegiate brothers have increased over the years, and to match that need it is imperative that the accountability and workload are not squarely landing on one person. With this new approach, I believe we can make sure the quality of brothers improves and dramatically increase the brothers' participation on the alumni level for years to come.

I have spoken with Bro. Scott, who heads the training of Collegiate Advisors University (CAU) for IHQ and he has agreed to train the Brothers in our Region on Thursday, May 14, 2020, at 2:00 PM PDT and Saturday, May 16, 2020, at 10:00 AM PDT.

Any fully financial brother can sign up for this training, however, it is mandatory for all Regional Board members, Area/State Directors, Alumni chapter presidents, Alumni chapter 1st Vice Presidents, and Alumni collegiate advisors.

Please log into our Regional Member Portal and fill out the CAU Registration Training Form to be added to the training roster. Registration ends on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at 11:59 PM PDT so that financial verification can be completed prior to training notifications being emailed.
