On Saturday, February 16, Brothers from across the region gathered in Corvallis, Oregon to celebrate the chartering of the Gamma Upsilon Gamma chapter at Oregon State University. The ceremony opened up with introductions and greetings by the Master of Ceremonies, NW Area Director, Bro. Keith Moore. The 33rd Western Regional Director, Bro. Mark Armstrong, Director of Collegiate Affairs, Bro. Richard Johnson, and Omicron Theta Sigma President, Bro. Blake Dye all gave brief inspiring words to the charter members, congratulating them on six years of hard work. The five charter members, 2nd Regional Vice Director, Bro. Trenton Joiner, Bro. Demetrius Watts, Bro. Deric Ntirandekura, Bro. Valentin Sainz-Lopez, and Bro. Marquis Morgan each shared their own personal anecdote about their progression within the Fraternity that resonated with the entire room.
