Rho Pi Sigma & Gamma Alpha Lambda
Media was invited to cover the continued progress of the City of Reno’s Neighborhood Renewal Program on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 9:00 AM.
Reno City Council member Oscar Delgado joined the Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Rho Pi Sigma | Reno, NV and Gamma Alpha Lambda Chapter | UNR, and other community volunteers on 1835 Hillboro Avenue, an additional home in Ward 3 that has been selected for a City of Reno revitalization project.
"This was the second time our organization worked with Habitat for Humanity and the local City of Reno government to participate in the Neighborhood Revitalization Program. It was a great day of hard work, brotherly bonding and filling that dumpster that you see in the photo. The house looked completely different after the work we put into it and there is still more work to be done to improve the neighborhoods in the Reno. We are planning to participate more in this program and the regular cleanup of our adopted park Pat Baker", stated Bro. Anthony Dionisi, N. Nevada Area Director.
