Omicron Iota Sigma Chapter | San Diego, CA Annual Kicks for Kids event took on new meaning this year as the chapter and Bell Middle School Principal, Precious Hubbard completed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), allowing Omicron Iota Sigma Chapter to officially adopt the school.
Principal Hubbard informed the chapter that teachers at the school observed that there were several students not participating in physical education because their shoes were worn or they did not have socks.
Omicron Iota Sigma Chapter brothers rallied together and purchased 50 pairs new shoes were donated. The shoes will be kept in the school's "pantry" a special supply room where supplies for homeless students i.e. shoes, socks, coats, and food are stored.
Principal Hubbard moved by the selfless gesture thanked the brothers for their donation, commitment to assist the students, and looks forward to the school's new partnership with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Thank you to all the brothers that donated their time and dillars to make this year's event a big success.
