Seattle UNCF Black College Fair

October 29, 2017

"A mind is a terrible thing to waste" which is why Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Epsilon Epsilon Sigma Chapter, Kappa Lambda Chapter, and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Rho Lambda Zeta Chapter continue their partnership with the Seattle Chapter of UNCF and the UNCF Black College Fair.

The UNCF Black College Fair promotes the importance of higher education to minority and low-income students throughout Washington State. The Black College Fair is open to all high school and transfer students throughout Puget Sound and featured representatives from historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), local colleges and universities, scholarship organizations, and other educational groups.

At this year's event, high schools students, transfer students, and parents will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters and alumni groups from HBCUs; Pacific Northwest colleges and universities; and local community educational organizations. Speaker panels will include HBCU alumni and S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics) panels.
