EES Adopt-A-Family
Epsilon Epsilon Sigma Chapter's Annual Adopt-A-Family continues to make a difference in the greater Seattle Area. Many of us during the holidays are rushing through the stores to find the items on our kids' holiday wish lists and plan for elaborate family dinners. Yet for those who are struggling to make ends meet, the holidays can be some of the most difficult times of the year. Some families are more worried about where they'll sleep that night, or where their next meal will come from. The chapter's annual holiday event enables the Men of Sigma in the Pacific Northwest to take some of that pressure off of a very deserving family.
This year Epsilon Epsilon Sigma Chapter donated over $700.00 for a Christmas Shopping Spree at Target department store for Howard Family of Kent, WA. Chapter President Richard S. Johnson stated, "As Chapter President, I am deeply humbled to lead this group of generous men committed to ensuring Christmas happens for a family in need. It is a true testament of our individual and collective values as Sigma Men. The gratitude these families have is often not something you can capture in a photograph."
